Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancun Recap

Earlier this month, we did a thing! We went on our first international trip as a family, and it was EVERYTHING! We flew into Cancun and stayed at the Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancun, an all-inclusive family-friendly resort, for 4 nights/5 days and it was 5-STAR, amazing! Everything from the gorgeous sightlines at the resort, the incredible cuisine, A1 customer service, to the cleanliness, was top-tier and I cannot wait to share it all with you guys!

To start, it was our first time traveling internationally as a family, so you can imagine the hustle and bustle that comes with checking all of the luggage, baby essentials, passports, etc. for a family of 5. Haha it was a lot, but totally worth it. I recommend checking your bags and keeping carry-ons to a minimum. Also, traveling with a folder to house all the tickets and passports in would have been extremely helpful as well.

Once we made it through Customs in Mexico, it was smooth sailing. Aventours picked us up and brought us to the resort and the fun began instantly! We were greeted by our butler upon arrival with cold towels and iced cold beverages and that set the tone for the rest of the trip.

THE FULL-SERVICE HOSPITALITY

Garza Blanca Cancun has NAILED the full-service hospitality experience. It is unmatched to anywhere we’ve ever traveled! The entire staff is so nice and accommodating and our butlers were THE best! On our last night, we ran out of diapers and our butler ran out and picked some up at the store nearby. We were so grateful for that.

Each time we left our room, they made sure to go in and refresh it and kept our fridge stocked! It truly felt like a dream that we didn’t want to wake up from, except it was real life! A LITERAL DREAM!

THE LUXURY SUITES

The resort offers 452 luxury suites that can accommodate all sizes! We had a 2-bedroom suite that was perfect for us. Not only was it beautiful, but it was also spacious and extremely functional. It had a full-sized kitchen, 3 full bathrooms, washer and dryer, crib, and stroller! With 3 kids, these are essential and helped make our trip that much better. The things we get excited about as adults are so funny. I couldn’t stop raving about the smart toilets in our room! Moral of the story is the rooms are contemporary, modern and luxe – a true oasis!

THE AMENITIES

The grounds have multiple pools including a beautiful, acrylic front pool that makes for the most epic shot! There is also a kid’s pool, a rooftop adult-only, infinity pool and even a swim-up bar! There are 3 jacuzzis. It’s a literal oasis and the best part is they offer first-class, poolside service – it makes for an experience of a lifetime! The SPA is also breathtaking!

Another cool amenity offered is the Kids’ Only Club (4 years and up) that you can drop the kids off to and they keep the kids occupied with educational games, crafts and outdoor activities while you live your best adult life!

THE CUISINE EXPERIENCE

You guys know we love to eat! The food here was TOP-TIER! The resort features several restaurants including BocaDos Steak House; Horoshi Restaurant, for contemporary Asian cuisine); Blanca Blue, an innovative Mexican restaurant; beachside Food Truck serving seafood fresh from the sea; and The Snack, the best poolside snack bar. We also enjoyed the 24-hour room service! Everything we ate tasted wonderful.

My advice to you is to take get the all-inclusive meal plan! With the food choices and amazing beverages, you will not regret it!

COVID TESTING

The resort offers in-room covid tests. We had an appointment for the entire family, everyone was swabbed and we each had our results in within 2 hours!
