You know, if you would have told me back in March that our lives would still be so drastically different even in August, I would NOT have believed you. Yet, here we are, living in uncertainty. My family and I are staying safe and making the most of it. The fall has always been one of our favorite times of the year. Pumpkin patches, booties, warm hues, and LSU Football are just a few of the reasons why we love this time of year so much!
For those of you who don’t know, LSU Football is known for its OVER THE TOP tailgating experience, there’s literally NOTHING like it. While things may look significantly different this season, we are still planning to make the most of it. The second that LSU Football season was confirmed for this year, we immediately started to think about what tailgating would look like this year. LSU Football actually cancelled tailgating for the season which was the ultimate buzzkill, but we quickly thought of the perfect alternative – A VIRTUAL TAILGATE! We will be setting up camp here every Saturday night of the LSU Football season, tailgating and enjoying family, while watching the game from the comfort of our home. It’ll definitely feel a little different, but at least won’t be sitting in the Louisiana Saturday night traffic!

Canopy – I’ve always wanted a canopy because in Louisiana – it’s a must! The sun is beaming 95% of the year, and it just completes the tailgate vibe
Academy Sports + Outdoors LSU Armchair – These chairs are a must have for more than just tailgates. I can recall several times when I needed a chair, but didn’t have one. Thankfully, now, that isn’t the case!
Table + Bench – A lot of people don’t even sit, because of course it’s basically a party. Haha. However, there will be a lot food, so it’s important to have space!
Victory Tailgate LSU Bean Bag Toss Game – It isn’t an LSU tailgate without this game. It’s a ton of fun and it actually helps me relieve stress while watching the game. Haha. If you’re a true LSU fan, you already know!
Portable Grill – It wouldn’t be a tailgate without some bomb food! This grill super cute and convenient, it even has wheels. I love this option because even when this crazy time ends, I will still be able to use this grill when it’s time to get back to traditional tailgating.
Igloo Trailmate Journey All-Terrain Cooler – This cooler is super spacious and glides so easily! It has great insulation, making it easy to keep all drinks nice and cold in this Louisiana heat!
I said it before, but I’m going to say it again! It won’t truly be a tailgate until there's good food! We typically always have Swedish Meatballs, BBQ chicken wings, hot dogs, burgers, cheese spaghetti, chips and dip, and a ton of drinks. This list is by all means non-inclusive of all of the meal options!
We are anxiously awaiting game 1 of college football and am excited to kick of this season! Virtual tailgating season is upon us, and I couldn’t be happier.
